In a bowl put flour, yeast, sugar, orange peel and beaten egg.
In a kettle, heat the milk together with the diced butter.
Add little by little over the flour, add the salt powder and knead the dough for 10 minutes. If you need to add more flour, the dough should be non-sticky.
Grease with oil and put in a warm place for at least 1 hour.
Apples are put on the large grater.
In a saucepan put the butter, sugar and essences on the fire, mix until the sugar is diluted and then add the cleaned apples. Let it simmer, stir from time to time and leave for about 10 minutes until the juice decreases.
The dough is divided in two, as well as the filling.
On the work table, powder the flour, spread the dough in a rectangular shape. Divide the dough into 3, without cutting, the parts on the edges are cut into strips.
Put the cold apple filling in the middle. The side strips are shaped x.
Put them in a tray lined with oil and flour or in a tray lined with baking paper.
Put the pies in the pan, grease them with egg and leave them warm for another 30 minutes.
Place in the preheated oven until browned on top.
